Back in our early teen years, the movie theater was the place to be during grade school, and it just so happened to be where we had our first date and our first kiss (sorry, Mr. Kevin!). At the time, we weren’t sure if it was just puppy love or something more, but by 10th grade, it was official. We became a couple and stayed together through graduation, earning the title of high school sweethearts. When it came time to choose colleges, we never had the "long-distance" conversation. Somehow, without planning it, we both ended up being accepted into the University of Southern Mississippi and got to grow through that chapter of life together too. That first kiss turned into a love story that taught us the true meaning of growing up together. One of the most beautiful things in life is meeting new versions of yourself through the eyes of someone who truly loves you. And for us, growing side by side has been one of our favorite parts of this journey because we know we’re always going to do it together. We often reflect on how lucky we are to share a bond this strong. Loving each other on an ordinary day might be someone else’s dream or a breath of fresh air. Either way, we’d choose each other again and again just to feel this love one more time.
