Our wedding ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception will be at: The Venue at the Bluffs 3530 GA-136, Trenton, GA 30752 May 22nd, 2026 Ceremony: 5:00pm Eastern Time The venue is located about 25 minutes from Downtown Chattanooga. Leaving Chattanooga, take I-24 West. You will dip into Georgia and take the exit for I-59 South toward Birmingham. You will follow I-59 to Exit 11, where you will then turn right onto GA-136. You will follow this road until you hit the hairpin curve going up the mountain. The venue will be on your left in this curve. There will be an off duty officer to direct you into the parking lot.
Weather permitting, our ceremony will be indoors and our reception will be outdoors overlooking the beautiful view our venue has of Lookout Mountain. There is a paved walkway from the ceremony space to the reception space. Ceremony, Cocktail Hour, and Reception will all take place at the same venue. There are plans in place in case of rain!
We are requesting semi-formal attire for our wedding. This can include suits, tuxedos, cocktail dresses, and gowns. Our colors and vibe will be very spring, so feel free to wear color! The grooms will be wearing a tan and light blue suit.
Chattanooga is extremely well connected! Chattanooga Metropolitan Airport (CHA) offers a nonstop flight from Chicago O-Hare on United and American Airlines. In addition, the airport is also served by Delta and Allegiant, and offers connection options for those traveling from a city the airport does not serve. The airport also offers car rental options. It is about a 15 minute drive to downtown Chattanooga and a 30-35 minute drive to our venue. If you are looking for additional options, both Atlanta (ATL) and Nashville International (BNA) are about a 2 hour drive from Chattanooga and our venue. For those driving, Chattanooga is located conveniently off of Interstate 24 and Interstate 75. It is about a 9.5 hour drive from the Chicago area.
Because we are a smaller wedding, we do not have a hotel block arranaged. However, there are plenty of options available within the Chattanooga area and we have provided a few suggestions under the travel section of this website. The Lookout Valley area of Chattanooga would be the area closest to our venue and has a lot of chain hotel options (15-20 minute drive).
Our dinner will be served buffet style, and will consist of the following menu: Grilled Chicken with House Seasoning Beef Brisket Mac and Cheese Green Beans Oven Roasted Potatoes Salad Artisan Rolls We will have wedding cake to follow, of course!
Due to the small capacity of our wedding, we ask that guests respect what is indicated on their invite. If you are allotted a +1, it will be indicated. In addition, while we would love to see your little ones, our limited capacity requires us to keep our ceremony and reception adult only.
