Why We Love It: You cannot visit the Denver area without seeing this world-famous music venue built naturally into towering red sandstone cliffs. There are walkable trails, a museum highlighting the history and music that have made this venue iconic., and some of the walking trails include dinosaur fossils with family-friendly activities. We recommend this as the most all-encompassing activity that has something for everyone, and gives you a taste of all great things Colorado has to offer! Pro-Tip/Good to Know: It is free to visit and hike around during the day, but check the concert schedule—the amphitheater closes early to the public on show days.
Why We Love It: It is the largest single-site brewery in the world! You get a fascinating look at the malting, brewing, and packaging process, plus three free samples in the tasting room at the end. Pro-Tip/Good to Know: Book in advance! Tickets are required and they sell out very quickly. If you’re interested, we recommend reserving your spots online before the wedding weekend.
Why We Love It: This massive, farmhouse-style brewery is right in Littleton. It has a huge outdoor beer garden, lawn games, and fantastic food. Pro-Tip/Good to Know: It gets very busy on weekends! If you have a larger group, call ahead or try to grab a spot on the lawn early.
Why We Love It: The historic beating heart of Downtown Denver. It is a stunning, beautifully restored train station filled with local boutiques, coffee shops, and fantastic bars. Pro-Tip/Good to Know: Grab a drink at the Terminal Bar and people-watch in the main hall. It is highly photogenic!
Why We Love It: One of Denver's most beloved green spaces. It features two beautiful lakes, vibrant flower gardens, and a wide paved loop that is perfect for a morning run or stroll. Pro-Tip/Good to Know: You can rent pedal boats or kayaks to take out on Smith Lake during the warmer months!
Why We Love It: Located right along the river downtown, it is packed with interactive, hands-on exhibits, including an amazing outdoor adventure space perfect for burning off energy. Pro-Tip/Good to Know: You must purchase tickets or make a reservation online in advance before visiting.

Why We Love It: A stunning 24-acre urban oasis right in the city! It features incredible themed gardens, beautiful water features, and amazing art installations. Pro-Tip/Good to Know: Buy tickets online in advance! Make sure your GPS is set to the York Street location. Parking in their garage is free, but it fills up fast on weekends. ** Also to Note ** A new location called Denver Botanic Gardens at Chatfield Farms (Littleton) recently opened closer to our venue! A gorgeous, 700-acre native plant refuge and working farm right in Littleton. It has beautiful, easy walking trails and historic farm buildings. Both locations are recommended but offer different experiences, so we suggest looking into both if this is an activity that interests you!
