To fully experience everything the area has to offer, we suggest staying in downtown St. Michaels, MD at The Wildset Hotel. Please visit our "Travel" page for more details and to book your reservation.
The dress code for our wedding is cocktail attire. Think tea length dresses for women and a suit and tie for men. If you can, we would like guests to dress in a muted, fall-toned color palette!
The ceremony and reception will be taking place in an outdoor grassy garden area; we recommend flat-soled shoes or wedges to avoid sinking into the grass. In the case of inclement weather, the ceremony will be held outdoors on a covered dock and the reception will be held indoors in a temperature controlled ballroom.
The ceremony starts promptly at 4:30pm, so please plan to arrive between 4:00-4:15pm.
Shuttles will provide transportation to and from The Wildset Hotel and our wedding at The Oaks Waterfront Inn. The Wildset Hotel will be the only shuttle stop location and if you plan to stay elsewhere, but take the shuttle, we ask that you communicate that when you RSVP. Public parking is available 1 block South of the hotel for guests driving to the shuttle. There is ample parking at our venue, The Oaks Waterfront Inn, if you choose to drive separately. Please note that there aren't any drive-share services (Uber/Lyft) in the area, so please plan your transportation accordingly. The shuttle will be departing from The Wildset at 3:30pm and 4:00pm.
The Oaks Waterfront Inn has a large parking lot to accommodate our guests. If you are planning to indulge in some drinks, we recommend using our shuttle service that will be offered to and from The Wildset Hotel in downtown St. Michaels, MD.
While we love your little ones, our wedding will be an adults-only event so that everyone can relax and enjoy the evening. We appreciate you making arrangements ahead of time and leaving the kids at home so you can celebrate with us!
We unfortunately cannot accommodate additional guests. Due to limited capacity, we can only allow the people named on your invitation. Your invitation will be made out to "Your Name & Guest" if a plus one has been given to you. Thank you for understanding!
