Something was always pulling Michael to Humboldt..was it the majestic Redwoods? was it the ocean? When we met, he knew exactly why. The start of our journey together was interesting to say the least but nothing could dim our light. Authentic love doesn't give a shit about whats going on in your life when it hits you and you never see it coming.

We decided to take a last minute trip to Hawaii with some family and friends. A few days into the trip, we packed up the crew and took ourselves on an adventure to see the beautiful, historic and ridiculously sketchy Hana highway. We saw beautiful waterfalls, trekked through a bamboo forest, sat on boulders as the stream trickled along side us and ate amazing locally made fudge. As the day was coming to an end and it was time to head back, we made one last stop at the Seven Sacred Pools. We swam, jumped off waterfalls, sun bathed and jumped off more water falls. As the sun was going down, we dried off, packed up and headed out. The seventh pool pours out into the ocean and it was a great backdrop for a family picture. We gathered to take a picture but everyone quickly dispersed claiming they "didn't feel like taking a picture" so Michael said "whatever, we don't need them in our picture!". little did i know, it was all a set up!! We take a few steps closer to the ocean to get a good backdrop and i think you know what comes next....

We chose a destination wedding because we were so inspired by The Smiths Mexico getaway. It was the most fun we've ever had, carefree and just took us all by suprise. We love a good time and want everyone else to feel like its the best wedding they've ever been to! how do we do that? Why we go to the Dominican Republic, of course! We are thrilled to experience a little nook of the world the first time with some of our closest friends and family. Here's to love and adventure!
