FAQs

If you have any questions not answered here, please
Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Black Tie Optional/Formal, please. We want you to feel comfortable, but at the same time would love if you would enjoy a night playing dress up!

Question

What Does 'Black Tie Optional Attire' Mean For Me?

Answer

Black tie optional means that if you have a tuxedo, or a formal gown, we would love for you to take this opportunity to wear it! If you don't, we do ask that all guests wearing suits wear a jacket and tie. The wedding party will all be in tuxedos and gowns. For women, it means you have the option of wearing a full-length gown, or opting for a cocktail dress. The "optional" part is that we will not be hurt or offended if you don't show up in black tie. We love you and want you at the wedding in any form!

Question

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

There will be plentiful, free parking at Ashton Gardens. ADA handicap parking will also be available

Question

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

The ceremony will begin at 5:00pm. We suggest arriving no later than 15 minutes before the ceremony and as early as 4:30pm in order to get your seat so you don't miss anything!

Question

Can I take pictures during the ceremony?

Answer

We are having an "unplugged" ceremony. This just means we are asking that all phones and devices be put away and on silent/turned off during the ceremony. Why? Well, we've hired a professional to capture some of the most important moments of our lives, and we'd hate to have a well-meaning person's phone/device blocking that moment for her to capture. After the ceremony, feel free to take as many photos as you want!!! And we promise to share the ceremony photos as soon as we get them.

Question

IS SMOKING ALLOWED ON SITE?

Answer

The venue does not allow smoking including the use of e-cigarettes or vape pens. The venue & couple thank you for understanding.

Question

Addressing the elephant in the room, what about COVID?

Answer

We sincerely hope to celebrate with all of our guests as planned on November 13, 2021! Based on current CDC guidelines and recommendations of our state, our venue is prepared to help us have an enjoyable, safe event. We want our family and friends to stay healthy and feel comfortable as we all come together. We trust that everyone will take care of one another and use their best judgment in implementing best practices to keep everyone safe. Your health and safety is of our utmost importance. If you feel unwell, please do not feel obligated to attend the wedding. You can update your RSVP anytime on our site. If you have been exposed to COVID-19, are in quarantine, or awaiting test results, we kindly ask you do not attend.

Question

What are the safety measures provided by the venue?

Answer

The venue’s capacity provides the ability to spread out and distance yourselves to your level of comfort. In addition, there will be an outdoor space and hand sanitizing stations located around the venue. Additional all staff and vendors will be required to have a mask on at all times. We will be following all guidelines recommended by the Venue and current State guidelines. Please check back here for any updates.
