For the following story, anytime you see (M) it means Michael inserted that fact. Anytime you see (A) it means that Ari wrote the fact. They met in film school. Michael was a ruggedly handsome man (M) who sat behind Ari, a beautiful vertically challenged person (M), in a very boring avant-garde film class. One day, Ari was wearing a jacket with zippers on the cuff of her sleeve. She stretched her arms behind her head and Michael decided to try and unzip the cuff for reasons we still don't know (A). Ari turned around and discovered this weirdo (A) behind her. After that first interaction, Michael tried to get her to smile or laugh, but nothing seemed to work! She was quiet and shy and didn't know how to talk to the tall guy behind her. Later on, Michael and Ari started working together in many aspects. Throughout this time, they were both in separate relationships, but were building a foundation through friendship.... for 2 years... just saying... its a long time (A). Soon after college they were both single and working on a film set together. On set one friend mistakenly thought Michael and Ari were already a couple, while another friend told Michael that his chemistry with Ari was amazing. At first Michael only asked her to hang out as a friend because she was constantly saying things like, "I hate when friends ask me out!" (M). Finally Michael worked up the courage (M) to ask her out... in a text (A). After only a few months they both new that it was something special. Michael kept saying things like, "I've got a really good feeling about us!" Two years later we are living happily and growing succulents with our dog Joey, and lizard DJ Pickles. We are both excited to share our wedding day with the people we love. We also want to thank everyone who helped make this day possible. We love you all!!! (M)(A)
