After serving in ministry in the same city for years, we partnered in a regional ministry training in October 2016. It was during this training, held at the church were we will wed, that we began to see each other in a different way. The following week, we had an opportunity to get better aquainted over lunch. We are both "foodies." Michael wanted soul food so we decided to try a new place called the Kingdom Cafe in Nashville, TN. Time stood still as we ate and shared our hopes, dreams, passions and vision for future. Five hours later, it was obvious that there was something special between us.
