It all started on a cold February night in New York City. Aoife was travelling on a sabbatical from her life in Dubai, little did she know, she wouldn't be returning after meeting Michael. Deeply intrigued by our shared sense of adventure and joy for life – including travel photos from the Middle East, Africa and South America – we matched! Michael invited Aoife to a Monday night lecture at The Explorers Club – a storied private club in the Upper East Side (fittingly, the venue for our wedding reception). The date went on for 10 hours… after a lecture on "The Healing Power of Psychedelics," Aoife and Michael continued on to the iconic Bemelmans cocktail bar in the Carlyle Hotel and then to Spring Lounge, a cozy dive bar in Nolita. We talked for hours as if we’d known each other in another lifetime. Since then, we’ve spent two unforgettable summers in New York City and traveled the world together (26 countries and counting). …this December, we invite you to join us as we celebrate the next chapter of our story.
