Where is the Wedding ceremony & reception

The ceremony & reception will both take place at The Historic Martin Mansion in the Hague Area of Downtown Norfolk.

What is the parking situation?

There will be mandatory valet service at the Mansion.

Can I bring my children?
Answer
Although we love your little ones, we are limiting the children attending to only close family. We hope you understand and can still join us on our special day.

When do I have to RSVP by?
Answer
We ask that you please let us know if you can make it or not by Friday, April 4th, 2025. This will give us enough time to get the final guest count numbers to our vendors.

Am I allowed to bring a plus one?
Answer
We have a limited amount of space inside our reception venue and are trying to keep the gathering intimate. Only guests listed on your invitation should attend.

Will the wedding be inside or outside?
Answer
The ceremony will be outside and the reception will in inside (weather permitting).

Do you have a gift registry?
Answer
We have an Amazon gift registry. We will also have a QR code where you can contribute to our honeymoon if you so desire at the event.

Where should we bring/send your wedding gift?
Answer
If you would like to honor us with a gift, you can have it delivered to our home at 1945 E Oceanview Ave, Apt 4, Norfolk, VA 23503. A wedding card box will be at our reception.

Have you reserved blocks of rooms at any hotels?
Answer
We have not made any room block reservations at any particular hotel. However, we do have a link you can use to see discounted rates in the area. Please visit the Hotel Booking Link/Places to Visit page to see the discounted hotel reservation link. We recommend you make your reservations as soon as possible because they may sell out.

What is the dress code?
Answer
The dress code is semi-formal. Tuxes and gowns are welcome as are suits and cocktail dresses.

What type of food will be served at the wedding?
Answer
We will be having cheese and meat plates with crackers, fruit, and veggies as well as meatballs and jalapeno poppers for cocktail hour/appetizers. For dinner, we will be having a taco bar. We will have cake and cupcakes for dessert.

Will there be alcohol served at the wedding/will there be an open bar?
Answer
We are planning to have beer and seltzers available. We will also have tea and lemonade if you prefer not to drink. Drinks are on us but we ask that you please enjoy responsibly!

Between 3:30 and 4pm
