Todd Dawson

Father of the Groom

The patriarch of the Dawson Clan, Todd is a model of honor, fortitude, and the driven-life personified. He taught Michael that "quit" does not have a place in the Dawson lexicon, and that there is nothing more important than faith. His example of wisdom, courage, moderation, and justice is something Michael strives to emulate.

Geri Dawson

Mother of the Groom

There are few more faithful and self-giving people than Michael's mother. She taught Michael love of God, to see God in all people, and that sometime in life, it is the little things that really are the big things. Michael owe's much of his character to his mother.

Jan Sander

Mother of the Bride

Anna described Jan as "the best mother possible for me." She looks with admiration on the example that Jan set in faith and family, her ability to look at people for who they are, and to take the world as it is, taking care of her own corner of the world, making it a better place.

Steve Sander

Father of the Bride

As Paul Harvey said, “And on the eighth day, God made a farmer... God said “I need somebody that can shape an ax handle, shoe a horse with a hunk of car tire, make a harness out of hay wire, feed sacks and shoe scraps. And…who, at planting time and harvest season, will finish his forty hour week by Tuesday noon. Then, pain’n from “tractor back”, put in another seventy two hours. So, God made a farmer!“
