"We met while working at a restaurant together in Newport News. I used to tap her shoulder and look away. Once she looked at me, I denied that it was me; it always made her laugh. We hung out with friends and coworkers, while slowly getting to know each other. I honestly thought she was out of my league, but I kept pursuing. I eventually asked her out and we've been living happily ever after ever since." -Michael
"During our two week road trip from California to Seattle, we booked a few excursions including a hot air balloon ride. It was very early in the morning and they had to change venues at the last minute. Instead of taking off in Napa Valley, we had to depart from YOLO county. Yep, YOLO. It was so fitting that Michael planned to ask me to be his wife during this time. However, while up in the air, we were in such awe of the views, that Michael waited until the decent to pop the question. He asked for everyone's attention and I was like-- uh no what's going on. Then he got onto his knee. I started crying and was shaking from both the heights and his proposal" -Amanda
Michael and I decided to have a small ceremony with our families to say I do on our original scheduled date. This date meant so much to us that we could not pass it up, but we are ready for our wedding "redo"! We are so excited to say our vows and share our love with everyone. Our small intimate wedding will always be so special, it truly would not be the same without all our family and friends. So we are doing it all over again! We cannot wait to celebrate and party with everyone!
