We first connected online through our shared love of gaming on Twitch. In 2016, we met in person for the first time at a gaming convention, PAX South, in San Antonio. Something just clicked between us when we spent that time together. After a few months of talking more seriously, Mike planned a trip to visit Adreanna over the July 4th weekend. That weekend, after introducing Mike to Adreanna’s family, she could see that he got along with everyone so well. Adreanna confidently asked Mike to be her boyfriend on July 4th while they were out on a date watching fireworks. Adreanna and Michael spent the first four years of their relationship long distance, but their strong bond made the miles between them feel effortless. In 2020, when both began working remotely, Adreanna decided to move from Texas to Georgia, finally bringing their long-distance chapter to a close. Fast forward to today... Michael and Adreanna are happily engaged and share their home with two cats: Maisy, their first fur baby together, and Kaiba, the lovable little menace.
