Taylor and I have know each other since we were just kids playing at my grandma and grandpa Scaggs house. I always use to chase Taylor with blue lipstick on my lips and he would run in fear from me and my cooties. Taylor and his mom moved away to Arkansas after my grandparents passed and we all never really heard from them again. Approximately 15 years later my cousin and I were at work and she brought up his name and told me that she had saw him and his son after Thanksgiving. I searched Facebook and added him. He messaged me quickly and soon remembered who I was. Soon after he traveled to Missouri to see me and spend a week with me. From there we began traveling to one another every time we had time off of work. Soon we were both head over heels and ready for our next step together.

Taylor had planned to ask me to marry him at the St. Louis Arch the weekend of September 18th. He had told all of my friends and showed them all the ring. I returned from my cruise to Mexico on August 31st and Taylor greeted me at my house. Little did I know he had the ring then in his pocket. He could not wait to propose to me. On Sunday September 2, 2018 we were sitting in my bed room. He bent down on one knee to just talk to me and I kept telling him he was making me nervous. He had his hand in his pocket and I asked him several times to get it out of there. Finally he did but within his hand there was a little black box. Of course I said Yes! Now here we are planning our future and a wedding all at once!
