We met at Hillside High School back in 1994 (The Old Hillside). Our lives continued to cross paths as the years progressed: NCCU, Nortel Networks, and then AW North Carolina. We had a conversation on a business level back in 2022. We were actually discussing different businesses and were just friends. One Saturday he mentioned that he was going to catch a movie and I asked: Is that your way of asking me out? We went on our first date to the movies and had a great time. Phone conversations began to last for hours and hours. We began to be inseparable. We were always together: church, family events, friend events, etc...I asked him from the beginning what were his intentions. His response was that he doesn't believe in wasting anyone's time. August 13, 2023 at my birthday brunch he asked if I would be his wife. I had no idea that this was happening! I can truly say that this was one of the best days of our lives! The rest is history....
