If you are travelling via LAX, have a VISA (don't get detained like Rhiannon...); Tullamarine is the closest airport to the CBD; contact Rhiannon or Michaela for more details (and to call dibs on a room)
Train
DRIVING: If you're planning on driving to the ceremony we recommend parking on Burnewang St. Selwyn St, or Bruce St. You will have plenty of time to drop the car to a hotel between the ceremony and reception and PT to the venue. Or you can park near the Post Office Hotel! V/LINE TRAIN: If you're coming from Ballarat/anywhere rural and would prefer not to drive, an easy option is to get the VLine train into Sunshine station. Let us know what time your train comes in, and we will send someone to come pick you up! You can always get a metro train/uber to the Post Office Hotel for the reception, or carpool with friends! LATE NIGHT TRAINS BACK TO BALLARAT: If you are planning on heading back to the rat after the reception, VLine offer services from Southern Cross to Ballarat at 11:15pm, 12:15am, 1:10am, and 2:10am.

Or you can park near the Post Office Hotel! METRO TRAIN TO THE CEREMONY: Jump on the Sunbury line and get off at Sunshine Station. Let us know when your train is coming in, and we will organise someone to come pick you up! METRO TRAIN TO THE RECEPTION: Take the Upfield to Moreland Station. From there either catch the 19 tram to the stop at Syndey Road and Reynard Street, or walk for 15 minutes to get to The Post Office Hotel. TRAM TO THE RECEPTION: The 19 tram stops right out the front of The Post Office Hotel. You can catch the 19 anywhere along Elizabeth street or Sydney Road. Get off at the Sydney Road/Reynard Street stop!
Travel Note
There will be around 2.5 hours between the ceremony and the reception. If you're staying in a hotel, this could be a great time to check in, park the car and relax before heading to The Post Office Hotel! We have some hotel recommendations below if you plan on staying the night

If you want to stay near the venue, where better than the old Pentridge jail? It's right on the tram line, or a 15 minute walk to the Post Office Hotel

If you'd rather not stay at the prison (or want to kick on in the city after), we recommend a hotel on/near Elizabeth street. That way, all 19 trams from the Post Office Hotel will drop you near where you need to go!
