Rafael and I were introduced to each other by his sister, Tamika. From the first time I laid eyes on him, I knew I would marry him one day. After six months of liking and commenting cute emojis on each others pictures via social media, we officially started having actual conversations. Our first date was at Nations where we both barely touched our food and talked until the restaurant closed. We quickly started dating a month later and the rest is history!

It was just a Saturday night and what I thought was to be just an ordinary dinner with my dad and his mom. We went to one of my favorite restaurants and had the best dinner with the best company. Little did I know he had something bigger planned. Our waiter came to the table with chocolate cake (my favorite) and the plate read "will you marry me?" My entire body went weak and I lost all words. I nodded YES of course. Hands down, the best day of our lives thus far. We cannot wait to celebrate our love with our friends and family!
