Michaela Mocnik

Bride

Philip Dianetti

Groom

Melissa Griesmer

Matron of Honor

“We met the day Michaela escaped the womb. Trapped within the same tiny bedroom with me for 20 years. And now we are besties!”

Brynn Bradac

Maid of Honor

“Michaela is my older cousin but to me she's more than that. We have grown so close lately and I look at her as a sister that I never had.”

Jessica Hensler

Bridesmaid

“The first time I met Michaela, I strongly suggested that Phil should marry her. The next time we hung out, she brought delicious brownies and that further cemented her permanent place in my heart. Her warmth and brightness made it feel like we had been friends for years after only knowing her for a few minutes. And her love of late night dessert fills my heart and stomach with joy every time we hang out.” “Phil and Michaela are the only friends that can leave our house at 4 AM and it still feels like it is too soon. From concerts to crawls, from cook offs to marathons of boardgames (most of which I won;) ), it's been a joy to watch Phil and Michaela fall more in love with each other. I cannot wait to celebrate with them and watch them share true love's first kiss in front of God, friends, and family. NOW KITH.”

Adrienne Huyghe

Bridesmaid

“This first time I met Michaela I remember it was a night I was working. Brian and Phil were playing pool so I rushed out of work to come meet them. I was so excited to get introduced to this girl that Phil brought with him! We clicked right away!! I’m pretty sure our first conversation was over our Doc Martens we were both wearing. Looking back on it now we laugh because Phil asked her to be his girlfriend only 6 days later!!! Fast forward 4 years and we are the best of friends. I loved watching Phil and Michaela’s relationship grow. I am so excited we get celebrate two of my favorite people this year!!”

Samantha Garcia-Stiggers

Bridesmaid

“I met Phil 12 years ago in the greatest college town in the land, Athens, Ohio. Among many years of debaucherous times and late nights studying together, we found time to become great friends who have never really lost touch along the way. When Phil met Michaela, I knew she was the one he’d end up with forever!! Something about the care free energy and genuine love between the two of them I knew they would eventually marry (I think I said this to Cortney after our first time meeting!) As time has gone on, we’ve all become a truly stunning group of 4 who love to have dinners, watch crappy (and great) movies and have some drinks together often. I’m so thankful and excited to be apart of your big day!”

Jazmine Middleton

Bridesmaid

“I’ve known Michaela for at least 15 years and Although I can not tell you exactly how we met but I can tell you that that majority of my memories with her include Michaela being naked in some capacity, licking spoons, or drinking juice out of baby bottles”

Celia Frausto

Bridesmaid

“Hi I have known Michaela for about five years now. The first time I met her was back in high school but back then I just knew of her we never hung out but that all changed once Jazmine one of our mutual friends introduced us and ever since then we have been super close, from going out on pho dates, going shopping and going to her to when in need. I definitely consider her one of my closest best friends.”

Caitlin Marriott

Bridesmaid

“I met Michaela back in 2012 at our church youth group. We immediately got along well and had so much fun! We became especially close in 2017 and moved in together in 2018; we were roommates for two years. I was dating my (now) husband when he moved in with Phil in 2019 and I knew Michaela and Phil had to meet; the two took it from there. Having Michaela as such a valued friend for so long time has really meant the world to me! Michaela stood by my side on my wedding day and I am honored to do the same for her. I am so happy for Michaela and all that she has accomplished so far, and what she will continue to do as a married woman!”

Michael Dianetti

Best Man

“I've known Phil since I was born, as that's how being siblings works. I'll save the extensive gooing and gushing for my highly anticipated speech but Phil is my role model and best friend - he's the reason I love board games, books, politics, and beer and I would not be the person I am today without him. I am incredibly honored and excited to be one of his best men as he marries his soulmate and my dear friend Michaela”

Michael Edwards

Best Man

“I met Phil Freshman year of college. I knew from the jump that he was a man that meant what he said and did what he said was going to do. We connected over our love for video games and our hate for George RR Martin. We eventually started talking every day and while other were out on the town we would spend days on snide talking about life, fantasy stories and non sense in general. Phil has been one of the most impactful people I. My life and I'm glad to call him my friend!"

Brian Huyghe

Groomsman

"I met Phil early in gradeschool, but we grew up on the mean streets of Walsh Jesuit. Looking forward to celebrating the newlyweds and their next chapter together. Cheers!"

Cortney Garcia-Stiggers

Groomswoman

“Phil and I have been friends for 13 years as we met at Ohio University and ever since it’s been a consistent battle of who is gonna kill who first- but all joking aside- I knew as soon as we met it would be a friendship that would be for life. I’m really happy to see that Phil has found his soulmate in Michaela and as soon as I saw them for the first time together- I knew she was the one for him. Michaela makes Phil smile like I’ve never seen him smile before, and it’s been great to see them grown in love. I’m honored that they’ve chosen me to be a part of their special day. Cheers to the future Dianetti’s!”

Rocco Gasparro

Groomsman

“I met Phil freshman year in biology class, it’s been all downhill since.”

James Dianetti

Groomsman

"Though not the favorite brother of the groom, inarguably the best of the 4 Dianetti boys. Long time roommate/living-room-wrestling partner, and creator of the infamous nickname, Gubby (you're welcome, world)."

Joe Dianetti

Groomsman

“I met Phil in 1992 as a dapper, wide eyed, just turned three year old (voted best dressed in the family before Mikey came along). Since then, he's had the honor of looking up to me - his oldest, best looking brother - on everything manly and sophisticated. He even followed me to Ohio University, stating "I just couldn't imagine learning how to be a college student from anyone else", where I very much taught him how to be a college student. In adult life, Phil has become a groomsman in my own wedding, a great friend, a shockingly responsible adult, and an on-call moving buddy when furniture and other heavy household items need moved in or out of the house. He surely looks forward to many more "Hey I'll buy you dinner if you help me move this treadmill into the basement" texts for many years to come. “

Arne Hensler

Groomsman

“I met Phil at a board game night that Jess hosted years ago. He asked me for some much-needed advice and I took him under my wing, molding him into the passable board gamer you see today. Jess and I look forward to our many gaming nights with Phil and Michaela and are so excited for them on this day!”

Joey David

Usher

“I've known Phil long enough that I don't even remember how we met exactly but I assume it was at a poker game in high school. Since then whether it was outsmarting him at chess, outmanuevering him in foosball, or outguessing him at guess who? he's been a terrible opponent but a great friend.”

Andy Dixon

Usher

“I met Phil in our Ohio University dorms. Since that day he has been like family to me. I didn't have a roommate so I slowly moved into his double. He had video games, drinks and snacks. Once I wanted out though, I was too far in. Can someone help me?”
