It all started on November 13, 2020, when Nick arrived at his cousin's rehearsal dinner in Ruston, LA (Shout out Morgan and Andy). As soon as he walked in the door his sister and aunt looked at Michaela and said, "YOU HAVE TO MEET NICK!!" They quickly ran over to Nick and said, "YOU HAVE TO MEET MICHAELA". The two were briefly introduced and that was it (for now). The next night, Nick and Michaela talked briefly at the wedding. After the wedding was over, everyone decided to take the party to The Revelry of Ruston. Nick and Michaela sat at the bar and talked for hours (there might have been some pickle back shots involved). For the next month, Nick and Michaela talked on and off then lost touch for a little bit. In January 2021, Nick reached back out and after a few months of talking, Michaela visited Nick in Knoxville for the first time. On March 13, 2021, Nick and Michaela made it official (for the first time). After a year of long distance, they took some time away from one another. On November 26, 2022, they made it official (again!). The next year and a half was filled with thousands of miles driven, hours of phone calls, and countless memories together. On May 26, 2024, in Bay St. Louis, MS, Nick asked Michaela to marry him (with Boosie playing in the background) in the company of Michaela's college best friends and brothers. On April 26, 2025, Nick and Michaela will start their lives together as Mr. and Mrs. Roberts!
