Welcome to the next chapter in our love story!

We met at the beginning of our freshmen year at Albright College. For the first two years at school, our friend groups overlapped a bit. Sometimes we would eat lunch together at the dining hall or hang out at Jake's place. Then everything changed during our junior year. We were both assigned to Crowell Hall as freshmen resident assistants. Pretty quickly we bonded over our job, our high school love for emo music, and pranking Ryan. We have so many wonderful memories from that experience, but at the same time, we were helping each other work through the unimaginable. By the end of the year, we had become inseparable and were officially dating by July of 2017. Shortly after that we were facing the unimaginable yet again, but our support for one another cemented our love even during the most difficult of times. From there we have just continued to grow! We graduated college together in May of 2018, both became teachers, and are even lucky enough to get to work together during the summers. Matthew proposed on Christmas Day in 2022, and we are so looking forward to celebrating this next milestone with all of you! Love, Matthew and Michaela
