Question

Wedding Day Attire?

Answer

Matt and Michaela will be wearing a classic tux and wedding gown. (shocker) It's a summer wedding on the Adriatic and we want everyone to feel comfortable and beautiful. No formal gowns required, cocktail dresses and suits are great! P.S. - Man or Woman, if you're unsure what to wear, text Michaela any time :)

Is the wedding in doors or outdoors?

Answer

Both the ceremony as well as the reception will be in a mixed space of indoor/outdoor but both will have plenty of shade until sunset, as that will be when we will sit down to enjoy dinner. The wedding ceremony will be quick- no one (including ourselves) would like to be baking in the sun!

Wedding day transportation?

Answer

There will be a shuttle to pick up wedding guests from The Royal Princess Hotel as well as bring guests back to the hotel after the wedding ceremony (unless you would like to stay and party in Old Town with us!) Check back closer to the wedding for the exact pick up time of the shuttle.

Are children allowed?

Answer

Aside from newborns we ask to have you all to ourselves this weekend!

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

If you have been given a plus one they are under your name when you RSVP, otherwise we hope you understand that we have limited seating and are looking forward to an intimate gathering (:

What other accommodations would we recommend?

Answer

If you're looking to stay somewhere other than The Royal Princes Hotel we completely understand! Ultimately we want this to be a vacation for everyone attending and want you to feel completely comfortable wherever you're staying. There are plenty of awesome Airbnb's within the walls of Old Town Dubrovnik and it would be no problem getting to/from the hotel if you were wanting to attend all of the other events we have planned (the hotel is about 10 mins from Old Town)

What Is the Wedding Day timeline?

Answer

We are having an evening wedding, so by all means sleep in and take your time getting ready. Other than hopping on the shuttle to head into Old Town for the ceremony & reception (we will post the exact time of the pick up/drop off once that is confirmed) the rest of the day is yours to do with as you'd like!

Travel Recommendations

Answer

Given the airline industry is so low on employees, as well as TSA- we suggest giving yourself a day or two buffer when traveling, just in case anything were to be delayed or canceled *knock on wood* We have taken planes, trains, and automobiles all around Europe so incase anything does happen, please reach out and we will make sure to get you to the party, or back home in time.
