Welcome to our love story

We met at the Illustrious Howard University. As simple as that may sound, the story is more complex than that. We have lived 15 minutes a part from each other our entire lives, and yet it wasn't our time to meet. Our love of music is what brought us to see each other. Michaela first noticed Lenora in the Howard University Wind Symphony in her freshman year, 2018. They sat right behind each other and never spoke. To this day, the only reason Michaela noticed her was because she thought Lenora could not play her saxophone until she was called out one day. Fast forward to October 2019, Michaela saw Lenora again as she graced the stage with the Howard Gospel Choir. Lenora's red hair caught Michaela's eye. And yet, it still wasn't time for them to meet. Fast forward again to January 2020, they officially met at a kickback at Honda, Battle of the Bands, in Atlanta, Georgia. A 15 minute conversation led them to realize that they had been moments away from each other their whole lives, and were just now meeting. From that day sparked a friendship that grew into what we know now as our love story.
