Arrival in Managua and Transport to Finca del Mar

9:00 am - 4:00 pm

Please plan to arrive during daylight hours and leave enough time to arrive to Finca del Mar before dark (approximately 2 hours drive from airport). A private shuttle will be arranged to pick you up when you arrive in Managua. On your way to Finca del Mar, you will have the opportunity to stop by the Walmart (yes they are everywhere) in Managua and pick up whatever snacks and drinks you think you would like for the week. There are no fully-loaded grocery stores in the area where we are staying.

Surf Instruction

10:00 am - 12:00 pm

Bring sun protection and suit. Board will be provided

For those who are new or beginner surfers, we can have a surf instructor meet our group for some intro lessons to get us off on the right fin. Please let us know if you are interested in joining this event. Time is TBD and dependent on interest.

Deep Sea Fishing

5:00 am - 5:00 pm

Bring sunscreen, drinks/water, snacks and sea sickness meds as needed. Fishing gear will be provided.

The day before the ceremony a deep sea fishing adventure is to be had. The boat size will be determined upon the number of sailors ready to set sail. These waters are amazing fishing grounds in this stretch of the Pacific.

Yoga

11:00 am - 12:15 pm

Casual but stretchy

This will be for all skill levels.

Alternate Trip - Volcano Day Trip

6:00 am - 6:00 pm

As an alternate day trip on Monday, we can arrange for a full day adventure to Laguna de Apoyo and Masaya Volcano where we can enjoy swimming in the volcanic lake and shopping opportunities, followed by a night visit to an active volcano. This is a full day trip, getting back in time for dinner with a few stops at cultural markets for souvenirs and food.
