FAQs

Have questions? Maybe we have the answer here!
Question

What should I wear? Is there a dress code?

Answer

We kindly request that your attire be formal, black-tie preferred (tuxedo or suit and tie and evening/floor length dresses). Please refrain from wearing white out of respect for the bride.

Question

What will the weather be like this time of year?

Answer

Are you an out-of-towner? Weather can be temperamental here in Missouri, but September is usually quite warm to lower 80's. Night time can get a little chilly (as can wedding venues) so we recommend you pack a light jacket as well.

Question

Are the ceremony and reception at the same place?

Answer

Yes! How convenient!

Question

Will the ceremony / reception be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

Weather permitting, our ceremony will be outdoors. Reception will be indoors.

Question

What will happen after the ceremony?

Answer

Once we've tied the knot, cocktail hour (and the open bar) will begin immediately while we sneak away for a few pictures. This should take no longer than an hour.

Question

What should I do if I can't make it

Answer

We'll definitely miss you! If you can't make it to our big day, just let Michaela or Holden know. You can text us or alter your RSVP via your wedding invitation.

Question

Is parking free?

Answer

Yes! There is also a shuttle that will be making rounds for those of you who have to park far away, but wish to walk a little less.

Question

When is the RSVP deadline?

Answer

We prefer you RSVP as soon as possible, but we also understand things happen. We are required to provide our final head counts to our vendors three weeks prior to the wedding. RSVP online for a quick, easy guaranteed delivery!

Question

Is your venue handicap accessible?

Answer

Yes! All areas of the venue are wheel chair accessible, except for the upper levels of the Stone House (bridal suite).

Question

Are we able to tour the Stone House property while we're there?

Answer

Absolutely! The Stone House is very beautiful, and you're able to look around the entirety of the grounds. This includes the bridal suite and grooms quarters. Make sure to read up on the history of the grounds before you come!

Question

Will special accommodations be made for diet/allergies?

Answer

Of course. We want everyone to enjoy their meal! When you RSVP, let us know of any dietary restrictions/allergies. We'll make sure they get to the caterer just for you.

Question

Where are you registered?

Answer

Here! If you click on the registry tab you'll find our full registry, as well as links to other registries at our favorite stores.

Question

Should I bring my children?

Answer

To allow all guests to relax and enjoy themselves, we have chosen to make our reception an adults only affair. We thank you for understanding!

Question

What time should I arrive?

Answer

Our ceremony will start promptly at 5 o'clock. We recommend arriving 30 minutes early to allow ample time to claim your seat for our big event.

Question

Can I take pictures/videos during the ceremony?

Answer

We have an amazing professional photographer and videographer capturing all the special moments on our big day. We would much rather have pictures of you being present with us than looking at us through your phone! In order to let the pros do what they do best, please refrain from taking pictures and video at any time during the ceremony, and save your shots for the cocktail hour and reception.

Question

I don't see my question here. What's the best way to get an answer?

Answer

If you didn't find your answer here, feel free to text me (Michaela) or Holden and ask. Michaela: 573-208-6657 Holden: 314-221-3681
