Stroll thru downtown Mystic: The downtown area sits along the river, and is filled with beautiful shops, bakeries, cafes and restaurants, and is really fun to stroll through.
Shop and eat at Olde Mistick Village: Just under 2 miles from downtown Mystic is Olde Mistick Village, which is a cluster of over 50 shops and cafes, centered around a beautiful pond
The nation’s leading maritime museum! The seaport includes a historic village, museums, a working shipyard, a marina and rotating exhibits. Beginning in the 1600s, Mystic was known as the country’s leading shipbuilding region, with over 600 vessels constructed over the course of 300 years. The exhibits and knowledgeable staff do an incredible job showcasing this fascinating part of the town’s history.
If you are a lover of marine life, this is a MUST visit! You’ll see beluga whales, sea lions, penguins, sharks, jelly fish, sea otters, manta rays, and fish of all types
Visit the historic homes, shops and restaurants in Stonington Borough. This is a great place to walk along the water and go antiquing. Make sure to stop at the Stonington Lighthouse and walk to Stonington point (surrounded three sides by water) where you can see land in CT, RI and NY.
Visit the vintage shops, bakeries and many restaurants/bars at the Velvet Mill in Stonington. This is an eclectic and fun experience.
Visit Westerly/Watch Hill: home to absolutely stunning beaches, quaint downtowns awesome restaurants and luxury hotels.
Downtown Westerly: make sure to stop by the United Theatre and Martin Street Books. Also, visit Woodmansee’s and Christina Ltd, two of our favorite boutiques there (if you’re looking for undergarments you have to stop by Zoe Zoe & Co. Professional Bra Fitters as well).
Watch Hill: Visit the boutiques. Stop by OMO Jewels and Gifts on your way to downtown Watch Hill and tell Joanna that we sent you! In downtown Watch Hill there are lots of great boutiques on Bay street including some of Michaela’s favorites like Rochelle’s Boutique , Fierce, etc..
Walk around watch hill…grab an ice cream at St. Claire’s annex and make sure you walk down to the lighthouse, walk by Taylor Swift’s house and over to the Ocean House. Stop by the Ocean House for a drink on the Veranda. Both East Beach and Napatree Beach in Watch Hill are beautiful, not to miss beaches!
