Our story began in an unexpected place—through work, family, and a chance introduction. Garrett and I first met during an emergency responders course where my mom, who works alongside him, decided we should meet. What started as a simple introduction quickly grew into something meaningful, though not in the way either of us expected at first. We spent the next two years building a strong friendship. Neither of us rushed into anything—we let things grow naturally, and that foundation made all the difference. Eventually, friendship turned into something more, and we decided to make things official. From there, our relationship continued to deepen over the next year and a half as we built a life filled with love, support, and countless memories.
