Question

What accommodations are available for out-of-town guests?

Answer

We understand that many of our guests will be traveling from out of town to join us for our special day. To ensure your comfort, we've arranged room blocks at two hotels for your convenience. You can find more information on the hotels, including booking codes and special rates, on our website's "Travel" page.

Will transportation be provided to and from the wedding venue?

Answer

We strongly recommend taking Uber or Lyft to and from the venue as street parking will be limited. If you have chosen to stay at the Hyatt Regency La Jolla, there will be a shuttle available for transport to the venue.

What is the dress code?

Answer

Semi-Formal: Tuxes and gowns are welcome and so are suits and cocktail dresses. We also recommend bringing a warmer jacket or shawl for the evening, although we will have plenty of heaters scattered around the venue.

What time is the ceremony?

Answer

The ceremony begins at 3:30pm. Please arrive with time to spare and enjoy a welcome refreshment as you take your seat. Due to the ceremony set up, we cannot accommodate guests attempting to walk to their seats after the start time. We will have to ask you to please wait downstairs until cocktail hour begins.

Are children invited?

Answer

Although we love your little ones, we have chosen to keep the wedding an adults only event with the exception of immediate family. If your children have been invited, it will be clear on your invitations. Thank you for understanding!

May I bring a plus one?

Answer

Due to space limitations, we will only be able to include those specifically listed on your invitations. We are looking forward to keeping our wedding as intimate as possible with only close friends and family in attendance.

What happens if I miss the RSVP deadline?

Answer

Once formal invitations have been sent, we kindly ask that you RSVP via the Zola website no later than February 14th, 2025 as we must give our formal numbers to the venue in a timely manner. We unfortunately will have to mark you down as a "No" if we receive the RSVP after that deadline! Formal invitations will have a direct link for you to follow to RSVP.

Where can I find a gift registry?

Answer

While your presence is truly the only gift that we need, we will have a registry go live on our website after formal invitations have been sent.
