Do you have any hotel recommendations?

Answer

We have a block of rooms at Hyatt House Chicago/Oak Brook and Chicago Marriott Oak Brook. See the "Travel" tab.

Is there a dress code?

Answer

The dress code for the wedding is semi-formal. Suits for the men and gowns or cocktail dresses for the ladies. Our wedding color is burgundy, but don't feel like you need to avoid that color! Feel free to wear heels - the reception area is indoors or on paved surfaces.

Can I bring a date?

Any plus ones will be indicated on your invitations. If you have questions, please ask Ben or Micki.

Will the reception be outside?

Answer

The reception space does have an outdoor patio and lawn area, but dinner and the dance floor will be inside.

Question

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

There is a limited amount of parking space at Yorkfield Presbyterian. If the lot is filled, you can park in the neighborhood next to the church (Lexington St, Concord St., or Old York Rd.). There is plenty of parking at Oak Brook Manor.
