Pellikoothuru & Pellikoduku

10:00 am

The Pellikoothuru (for the bride) and Pellikoduku (for the groom) are traditional South Indian pre-wedding rituals. Family and friends come together to bless the couple with turmeric and other natural ingredients, symbolising good luck, health, and happiness before their big day.

Mehendi

3:00 pm

An afternoon filled with henna, music, and games!

Edurukolu

7:00 pm

Edurukolu is a South Indian wedding tradition that marks the meeting of the two families. Traditionally, the bride’s family welcomes the groom’s family with rituals like offering garlands, washing the groom’s feet (a sign of respect), and exchanging blessings. For our wedding, both the bride and groom will take part together in this ceremony! It's a fun, lively moment filled with playful traditions and lots of dancing to celebrate the start of their journey as one family.
