FAQs

The Wedding Website of Michaela Wilson and Alexander Bussey
Question

IS THERE A DRESS CODE?

Answer

The dress code for our wedding is Semi-Formal. We would love if guests were in our color family for us to achieve the best pictures on the day. We are looking for champagne, cream, and taupe. We do request that guests do not wear jeans or shorts.

Question

ARE KIDS WELCOME?

Answer

While we love your little ones, our wedding is going to be an adults-only event so that everyone can relax and enjoy the evening. We appreciate you making arrangements ahead of time and leaving the kids at home so you can celebrate with us.

Question

CAN I BRING A DATE?

Answer

Our wedding is a very intimate event, and is strictly RSVP only. We will only be able to accommodate those listed on your invitation.

Question

WHERE WILL THE RECEPTION TAKE PLACE?

Answer

The reception will take place at the same location as the ceremony. The ceremony and reception will both be taking place primarily outdoors, be sure to plan accordingly for the weather.

Question

WILL FOOD AND DRINKS BE SERVED?

Answer

Absolutely! It wouldn’t be a Michaela and Alexander event without food! We are having a plated meal, and tons of cake! Do note however that we will not be serving alcohol of any kind at any point during the ceremony or the reception. Of course we will have water and other soft drinks available throughout the day for your enjoyment :)

Question

DO I HAVE TO RSVP?

Answer

Yes! The RSVPs are vital because they contain information needed for our catering team to serve you! If you do not submit your RSVP, you will be marked as not attending, and a seat will not be reserved for you at the ceremony or the reception.

Question

WHAT TIME SHOULD I ARRIVE?

Answer

We recommend that you arrive thirty minutes before the start of the ceremony, to make sure everyone is on time and we can get started as scheduled!

Question

CAN I TAKE AND POST PICTURES OF THE WEDDING ON SOCIAL MEDIA?

Answer

During the ceremony, we ask that you refrain from taking pictures. We hired a photographer who we love, and she’s got that all covered! We would love if you shared whatever pictures you do take after the ceremony with us. We will have a QR Code at the venue to make sharing your pictures with us easier! Feel free to post whatever pictures you take at the wedding on social media as well.
