FAQs

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

We’re so excited to celebrate with you and kindly ask that guests dress in formal attire. For men, this means a suit and tie. For women, floor-length gowns or formal midi dresses. We also respectfully ask that guests refrain from wearing white (even white with patterns or designs), any off-shades of white (including ivory, cream, champagne, etc.), or any very light colors that could appear white in photos. Thank you for helping us keep this color special for the bride!

Question

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

Please plan to arrive at 3:30 PM so everyone can find parking and be seated. Our ceremony will begin promptly at 4:00 PM.

Question

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

Due to space limitations, we’re only able to accommodate invited guests listed on the invitation at our celebration. We truly appreciate your understanding.

Question

Are kids allowed?

Answer

We kindly request that only those listed as “Family” on the invitation include their children in attendance. We truly appreciate your understanding.

Question

Is the venue inside or outside?

Answer

Our ceremony will take place outdoors on the grass, so we recommend wearing shoes that are comfortable and suitable for walking on lawn surfaces. The reception will be held both indoors and outdoors, so you may want to dress in layers to stay comfortable throughout the evening.

Question

Is there parking at the venue?

Answer

Yes, there is plenty of parking.

Question

What is the closest airport?

Answer

McGhee Tyson Airport in Knoxville, TN, is the closest airport to the venue and only 30-45 minutes away.

Question

Are photos allowed during the ceremony?

Answer

We kindly ask that guests keep phones, cameras, and other devices tucked away during the ceremony. Our videographer and photographer will capture every special moment.
