What time should I arrive at the wedding mass?

Answer

Please arrive at St. Edward the Confessor Catholic Church by 2:30 PM. Mass will begin promptly at 3 PM. As you enter, please silence your cell phones and limit noise to prepare for the reverence of our sacrament.

When should I arrive at the reception?

Answer

Please arrive from by 5 PM at the Aliso Viejo Ranch. The couple will be arriving by 6 PM. There will be light snacks and refreshments.

Where to park at The Ranch?

Answer

There will be parking within the vicinity. If the parking lot is full, there is parking across the street at the Aliso Viejo Middle School, Aliso Viejo Community Park, and in the surrounding streets.

What's the dress code?

Answer

Women: - Nice dress, preferably covering knees - Nice pants or skirt with a blouse - Wear any color you wish! And just an fyi, Bridesmaids will be wearing shades of blue Men: -Collared shirt (short or long sleeve) -Dress pants or slacks preferred -Nice pair of jeans with cowboy boots ok -Jacket/tie optional -No shorts We welcome cowgirl and cowboy boots! Feel free to wear your boots to mass, but please no hats. Or change into your boots for the reception. IMPORTANT NOTE: The reception will be fully outdoors, so a hat and fan could come in handy if sunny! And for the evening, a light cover up or sweater should do for the summer time.

What will the weather be like?

We will be outside for the entire reception. Weather is projected to be in the low 80s, dropping to the 60s in the evening.

Answer

Yes, we are registered on Zola. Please visit the "registry" tab.

Will there be alcohol at the reception?

Answer

Yes, we will be having an open bar for 21+ Signature drinks: Moscow Mule & an Old Fashioned

Will transportation be provided from the mass to the reception?

Answer

We will not be providing transportation.

How far away is the church from the reception (the Ranch)?

Answer

About 20-25 minutes. Plan to leave the church immediately following the wedding mass to allow for time for parking and travel.

Is smoking permitted?

Answer

No, smoking of any kind on the AV Ranch premises including vapes, cigarettes, cigars, marijuana, etc. is prohibited.

Will there be a place for cards and gifts at the wedding reception?

Answer

We will have a table for cards, but ask for no gifts as we will be limited on what we can bring back to Northern California.

What are the details for the beach party on Sunday 9/1

Answer

Join us at Doheny State Beach to wrap up the wedding weekend. This will be a casual get together for anyone wanting to spend a sunny Sunday on Labor Day weekend at the beach. Admission is $20 per car, by scanning a QR code. Prepare for a line to enter and crowds due to the holiday weekend. Find us at group site #4! Note: Once you enter past the entry booth, if you inform security that you are going to the reserved site #4, they will let you try to find parking closer.
