Sparkman Wharf and Water Street
Located by the water in downtown Tampa, Sparkman Wharf features waterfront views, craft drinks, the LightHaus Beirgarten, live music, and multiple dining options. This fully outdoor space is a great area for lunch and exploring the downtown/channel-side area.
Armature Works
This gourmet "food-court" has become one of the top destinations in Tampa and is a great place to grab food or drinks! The historic building has been converted into a massive co-op with multiple food vendors to choose from. Tampa River Walk begins at armature works and follows the river around the city for anyone looking to spend time outdoors.
Hyde Park Village
Hyde Park Village is a small but fun outdoor destination full of upscale shops and restaurants. Grab a sweet treat or a fancy meal and enjoy some high-end shopping along the way.
Ybor City Historic District
Historic Ybor City is a great place to see some of historic Tampa. 7th street offers restaurants, brewery's, shops, bars, clubs, cigar factories, and more. Ybor is a 5 minute drive from downtown (15 from the Epicurean Hotel), however there is a FREE streetcar that travels continuously between Ybor and downtown Tampa. Ybor has a rather chaotic and crowded nightlife, so unless that is what you are looking for, we recommend visiting during the day.
The Florida Aquarium
The Florida Aquarium is one of the top aquariums in the country! It offers hands-on experiences, ocean exploration habitats & amazing creatures including sharks, alligators, lemurs, penguins and much more!
Pirate Water Taxi
If you are looking to explore Tampa Bay in a day, this is your opportunity. Listen to the Captain tell tales of Tampa history while you indulge in happy hour specials and a leisurely cruise on the hour-long river route. You can tour the entire route or use Pirate Water Taxi as transportation to your final destination!
TECO Street Car
The TECO Line Streetcar System is a FREE 2.7-mile line serving the dining and entertainment destinations in Ybor City, the Channel District (including the Port of Tampa and Channelside Bay Plaza) and Downtown Tampa. Operating until late on Fridays and Saturdays, the TECO Line Streetcar features 11 stations, each equipped with ticket vending machines. The TECO Line Streetcar is a fun, historical trip that is more than just getting you to your destination!
