RSVP by May 1st, along with who in your group is attending (only if your invite has multiple people). Also, please include what meal you and every person on your invite has selected. (Meal options are mentioned in the question below).
There will be both a cocktail hour and dinner where food and beverages will be served. During the cocktail hour there is an open bar accompanied by some appetizers before dinner. Those appetizers are: Fried coconut shrimp Beef wellingtons Bacon wrapped scallops Fresh fruit and cheese tray During dinner the open bar is closed, and each guest is required to select one of these two entrees to be served to them during dinner: Grilled filet mignon served with mushroom demi-glace over yukon gold mashed potatoes and chef's choice of vegetable Chesapeake-style crab cakes with a lemon beurre blanc, served with rice pilaf and julienned vegetables After dinner, the bar opens again for the rest of the event, and then it's time for cake. The cake consists of: Marble cake with buttercream frosting and vanilla cream filling
We do request that guests dress Semi-Formal: Tuxes and gowns are welcome, and so are suits and cocktail dresses. Please avoid dressing too fancy; men especially are more than welcome to come in just dress pants and a button down shirt. In order to not clash with the wedding party, we also request that female guests not wear white or dusty pink, and male guests not wear any blues.
