Wedding Party

Meet a few of the special people in our lives...

Sabrina Illingworth

Maid of Honor - Childhood Best Friend

Sabrina and I have been friends since we were kids—from swim team and creative, entrepreneurial projects to now frequent deep conversations. She’s the friend who has pushed me outside my comfort zone (zip lining in Costa Rica and mountaineering at Whistler, for example). The Illingworth and Kimbrow families are practically related. I’m so thankful to have her by my side.

Rachel Knapp

Matron of Honor - Matchmaker

Rachel was my high school and college roommate and has been a close friend through many seasons of life. It was always our high school dream to walk through this season together, and after planning our weddings side by side, I’m especially honored that this is the first wedding she’s serving as a matron of honor.

Alissa Tanguay

Bridesmaid

We became friends at Southern and have shared many years of music and fun adventures together—plus numerous spontaneous trips and hilarious memories. Fun fact: long before Michael and I ever met, she was assigned as his “wife” for a high school marriage project. Thanks for the early training, Alissa!

Carly Kimbrow

Bridesmaid

Carly is my brother's wife, but we're practically sisters. She is extremely talented and creative—our wedding cake is going to be her special masterpiece. We’re always down to spend time together—hanging out, shopping, dreaming about homes and decorating, or coming up with new family traditions.

Joi McClellan

Bridesmaid

Dr. McClellan and I were the party in college. We always had something up our sleeves and shared more laughter than we can count. Our late-night conversations covered everything from our school’s dating scene to life, theology, and deep topics. She is one of the most driven friends I know, and I’m incredibly grateful she could take time away from medical school to celebrate with us.

Kellie Culpepper

Bridesmaid

Within the first few minutes of talking with Kellie, it felt like we had been friends for a lifetime. We were housemates during my final year of college, and some of our sweetest memories come from Friday night vespers—singing, praying, and sharing how God was working in our lives. We share a love for home décor, piano duets, and deep spiritual conversations.

Melodi Powell

Bridesmaid

Melodi is one of my wisest friends and a constant inspiration for being an organized and intentional wife. She is an amazing cook, and her thoughtfulness shows in everything she does. She was one of the stops on my road trip after meeting Michael, so she heard plenty and offered such wise advice. I’m so thankful for her and Clayton’s friendship over the years.

Jonathan Barron

Best Man

Jonathan is my twin brother, being born one minute after me. Kindred with a special bond, Jon and I shared everything growing up, including our love for one another. Reserved and honest, he is a brother I can always talk with.

William Barron

Best Man

William is my older brother by six years and eight months. Bill and I have lived together and worked together, forming a familial bond of friendship and trust. Outgoing and driven, his is a shoulder I can always lean on.

Brayan Seidl

Groomsman - Childhood Friend

Though we have had intervals of communication, Brayan has been my friend since elementary school. As young boys we played games together, as young men we played sports together, and as grown men we now pray together. I am thankful for how God has reconnected us, and for a friendship that lasts.

Clayton Powell

Groomsman

Clayton and I became friends through Kaili. I appreciate his love for God, passion for evangelism and enthusiasm for life. Clayton is always down for an adventure.

Drew Baker

Groomsman - High School Best Friend

Drew has been my friend since high school. Through choir, high school events, and post-graduation get-togethers we have created many memories and come to know each other very well. With wit and intelligence he has connected with me on a personal level.

Jared Kimbrow

Groomsman - Future Brother-in-Law

Jared is my fiancé’s brother, and a fellow engineer. Connecting through activities from welding to car maintenance, we have related through hands-on tasks. I look forward to our future adventures as brothers-in-law.

Jeff Clutter

Groomsman

Jeff is coming all the way from Canada to be in our wedding. It’s a good thing he loves long road trips. He’s a guy that’s drawn to the outdoors and adventure.
