House Or Rental
There are many beautiful property rentals right in town. Many rentals will be as nice as hotels for even less money; rentals have water views, outdoor space, and even small pools or hot tubs! Be sure that your home away from home is an Airbnb in Croatia. Bosnia and Montenegro are close by and some listings don't make that clear. If stairs are difficult for you, it might be best to stay at one of the hotels down by the Promenade in Cavtat.
Hotel
Hotel Croatia Cavtat is centrally located and offers all the perks you could want. Go for a swim in the sea or at one of the pools, book a massage, arrange a rental car, take a peek at ancient Greek ruins, and more! Although more expensive than other options, it is a very nice 4 star hotel with sea views and luxury amenities.
Hotel
Numerous other hotels line the main promenade, catering to a variety of budgets.

Booking.com seems to be a popular choice with locals and might include listings not found on Airbnb.
Rental Car
Uber is available in Croatia, and we recommend using it instead of hailing a cab. When your Uber arrives, there's a good chance it might also be a taxi. This is a normal in Croatia, as taxi drivers can also operate through the Uber app.
Travel Note
While it might take twice as long and cost more, approximately €15 per person per trip, experiencing the journey between Cavtat and Dubrovnik by boat is a must-do during your stay. This trip offers a fantastic opportunity to cruise the stunning Adriatic Sea and take in the picturesque Dalmatian coast. From Cavtat, head to the main promenade. In Dubrovnik, the boat departs from the east side of the walled city– specifically from the Old Town port.
Travel Note
There is a public bus, number 10, that operates between Cavtat and Dubrovnik starting from 5:00 AM until just before midnight. From Cavtat to Dubrovnik: You can board the bus at the Cavtat bus terminal. The fare is approximately €4 per person per trip. If you're headed to the Old Town, please refer to the FAQ section for more specific bus information. From Dubrovnik to Cavtat: When departing from the Old Town, you can catch the bus in front of the cable car station, conveniently located near Buža Gate and Ploče Gate.
Flight
If possible, please be in Cavtat and available for wedding events on Saturday, June 29th, 2024, Sunday, June 30th, 2024, and Monday, July 1st, 2024. See the schedule tab for more information. For your travel plans, we recommend arriving at Dubrovnik airport on June 28th. Keep in mind that Dubrovnik's airport is on the smaller side, so missing a flight might mean waiting until the next day. Arriving on the 28th gives you a buffer day, which not only helps with any unexpected delays but also lets you recover from jet lag.
Travel Note
Please make sure you have a valid passport. If it's due to expire in less than a year at the time of travel, you may not be allowed to use it, and would therefore need to renew.
