Our story started when two people swiped right on a dating app called Bumble. Hunter started the conversation by asking Michael, “If you could only watch one movie for the rest of your life, what would it be.” And their story began. At first, their relationship was long distance, with FaceTime dates and hour long phone calls. First date was on June 18th and they went to the restaurant called Merchant House in Greenville. Michael was very surprised with how comfortable he was around Hunter with just meeting her in person for the first time. He was shy and nervous with how their chemistry were in person compared to over the phone. But when he saw her for the first time and hugged her, he knew. She’s the one. Their relationship started slow. They both were single parents and didn’t date so they both wanted to start a friendship and a relationship with one another before making a move. They had a second date days after and Hunter broke the ice when Michael was leaving to go home and they had their first kiss. After that kiss everything felt right and Michael asked Hunter to be his girlfriend June 26th. They had multiple dates and many sleepovers back to back every weekend. And one night they went out with some of Hunter’s bridesmaids to a place called the Yellow Rose. A different scenery that Michael was used to . With the country music and line dancing, but when he saw Hunter dancing and made him dance with her, he just knew. That night, July 16, he told Hunter he loved her and she…said it back. Their relationship was an adventure! With going to renaissance festivals to pumpkin patches to just staying home and watching movies all night and ordering street tacos. They communicated so well and both just knew what to do when one is upset or down. They felt so comfortable and safe with one another unlike anyone else they have met. They were crazy for each other. Everything was perfect the moment they moved in. It felt like they were a family in a previous life and it just felt right. Hunter knew she couldn’t live without Michael and Audrey. And Michael felt the same. So on May 12, Michael asked Hunter to marry him. And Hunter said YES!

I know you are wondering why there is a different venue location on the invitation compared to what I have as our ceremony venue on the website. Funny story…well not so funny. We found out we could no longer use the ceremony venue due to constructions delay on the property 3 days after I ordered the invitations. They started to ship out before I was able to cancel the order. So to save money, we decided to just send out detail card! I hope this helps answers confusion.
