Rather than postpone our wedding AGAIN due to Covid-19, Michael and I are getting married in the church with only our closest loved ones present. We hope you understand that safety is our number one priority and if we could, we would want you all there with us! It has been such a hard process with difficult decisions along the way. We are so appreciative of your love and support during this wild ride. Please join us virtually to celebrate, it would mean the world to us on 1-16-21 at 3:30pm EST! Much Love, Frances & Michael
Hi everyone! First, I'd like to thank everyone: family, friends, and all vendors, have been so kind, generous, and flexible with Michael and I as we navigate planning this wedding through the COVID-19 Pandemic. As many of you already know, we have had to cancel/postpone our April 11th wedding due to restrictions by the CDC and Indiana State Government to ban gatherings of more than 50 people. Yes, we are heartbroken, but ultimately God has a plan and we will get married and celebrate when the time is right. Anyone who reserved a hotel room should be seeing a full refund and cancellation of their room reservation, and I urge those of you who purchased a flight to contact your airline to receive a refund or change date. I apologize whole-heartedly for any inconvenience this delay has caused you, but the most important thing is everyone's safety and health. We will keep all of you in our thoughts and prayers! I appreciate all the love you have shown Michael and I and I cannot wait to finally celebrate in a big way! Much love, Frances and Michael
Surgical ICU for life! I was a night-shift nurse, and he was the unlucky ICU resident on call for much of that month. After a long and emotional night with a sick patient, he asked me out on our first date! All cat related, a theme that is near and dear to our cat-loving hearts, we visited a the Nine-Lives Cat Cafe in Fountain Square. We loved on some adorable adoptable cats, saw Black Panther in theatres, and had dinner at Ruth's Chris afterword. We knew it could be something serious pretty soon after that epic first date!
Michael, true to his nature, was so thoughtful when he proposed. He knew simple, romantic and surrounded by family was all I needed. So, on Christmas day, we took a chilly walk around the lake where my parents lived and he popped the question in a little clearing in the woods. Jumping up and down, crying, I said YES! The most beautiful part was celebrating with family afterword, popping the bubbly, and face-timing his family in Florida. We are so excited to celebrate our wedding with you. Can't wait to see you in Indy!
