Absolutely! Each person invited is automatically given a +1, who is already included in the count. In your RSVP, please specify how many are in your party, each name, and any dietary preferences/restrictions among y'all. However, if your save-the-date/invite is addressed to you and your spouse, you are each other's plus 1!
Yes! You are more than welcome to bring your children (or fur-babies) to the ceremony and/or reception! Of course, your children and pets are your responsibility and will not have a designated sitter for any event. Both the ceremony and reception will be outdoors, and the reception venue has a dog-park area! Be sure to book your stay with a pet-friendly hotel or Air BnB if you choose to bring them along!
We want you to be comfy and have fun, and if that means attending the reception in your pajamas, sweatpants, a toga, or dressed to the nines, so be it! The bride and groom will most likely be changing into lighter, more comfortable clothes (possibly leggings and jeans) after the wedding ceremony and before the reception. While guests may be in traditional wedding attire for the ceremony itself, they can choose to remain in such attire for the rest of the night or change prior to the reception. Additionally, the reception venue has bathrooms, so guests may bring clothes to change into there as well.
We picked this time of year largely to avoid both the sweltering heat and potential for snow. Typically in Waco at this time of year, highs are around 70 F and lows are around 30 F. This will likely be a nice reprieve from Massachusetts or Missouri winters, but may still be a bit chilly, especially outside and once the sun sets. We encourage guests to bring layers to each event, especially the reception.
Nope! The wedding ceremony and reception will happen rain or shine, despite both being outdoors! The bride nor groom will let bad weather ruin their fun. If it rains, maybe there will be a rainy pick-up football scrimmage to pay tribute to The Longest Yard. If it snows, we might have some fun with car hoods. If it's windy, hang onto your date! Just be happy you're not the ones jumping into a lake in the winter no matter what the weather (:
