Bobby and Micayla met while attending SUNY Fredonia at their local dive bar, BJ's. They were both out for a night with friends when Bobby slid into Micayla's booth to say hi to a friend of hers (shout out to Sarah!) They began talking, and the rest is history. A month after meeting, Bobby came over with a pint of Strawberry Shortcake Ben & Jerry's to officially ask Micayla if she would be his girlfriend, and she, of course, said yes. From graduation in 2017 to 2019, they managed a long-distance relationship. In April of 2019, Micayla took the plunge and moved to NYC permanently. Bobby and Micayla have been living in the city for 6 and 4.5 years, respectively. They moved in together in their current Long Island City apartment in July of 2021. Bobby officially popped the question on August 13, 2022, while in India for their friend and Micayla's Matron of Honor, Julie's wedding! Now, they are getting ready to tie the knot 8 years after the anniversary of their first meeting in that bar booth at Fredonia!
