Celebrate our marriage with us!

We met years ago in a mutual friend group but never spoke until years later when I moved to Florida.. how convenient ;)! Bret's friend, Alex suggested he call me and it was history from there. From that day we facetimed, called and would speak for hours at a time. I then flew up to Missouri and we had a date night, from there we knew our feelings were even stronger for one another. From that point on we started flying back and forth seeing each other, feelings growing stronger, meeting each others friends and family and then one day those special words came out "I love you." About 6 months into dating Bret and I had to face the distance and what we were going to do about it.. naturally most military couples married immediately ;) we beat that stigma. I left Florida and moved in with Bret in Jefferson City where we began to really start our lives as a couple, from there we moved to Cape Girardeau for about a year. While I didn't know anything about Bret's plan to propose I knew he would do something special and he did just that. On March 25th of 2023 is when Bret and I had our first phone call and flash forward to March 25th of 2025 is when he proposed. Now anyone who really knew us probably saw the elopement coming, however we knew we had to do a do over for everyone who couldn't be there for the first time around. So here we are a little over a month into marriage and planning a wonderful celebration with all 1 year later. We hope you'll be able to join us and celebrate our love. Love, Micalah and Bret
