The Modern Honolulu

For your convenience, a block of rooms has been reserved at The Modern Honolulu located on the edge of Waikiki. You can book directly from the link listed below. Please note: our special group rate is only valid from the link below. Please do not go through www.themodernhonolulu.com/ as that site will not honor our group rate. If calling to make your reservation, please mention the Baker-Reidy wedding in order to receive a discounted rate. When booking, be advised that your confirmation email might reflect the total cost for all reservations under our room block. Flight

There are multiple transportation options to get from the airport to The Modern. We highly recommend Uber/Lyft as taxi services are known to spike prices up to $50+ for a Waikiki drop off. There are also shuttle services if interested.

Shuttle

Transportation will be provided for our guests traveling from the mainland. The shuttle will pick you up outside of The Modern and return you after the reception. Please be prompt as this shuttle will leave on time. If you miss it, you will be responsible for your commute to and from Ko'Olina.

Rental Car

Hertz, Budget, Avis, Ect.

For guests who desire to rent a vehicle, The Modern charges $35/night for parking. There is also public parking along the Ala Wai with just a short 7 minute walk to the Modern. If this is your first time on our island, we highly recommend you renting a vehicle during some part of the trip to explore outside of Waikiki. An uber/lyft would not be ideal for exploring North Shore, Leeward or the Windward side as they are farther away than they look on the map. If the plan is to relax I’m Waikiki, you can get away with walking or a short Uber to places in town.
