We’re Getting Married

We first met in the hallways of Conrad Middle School. Micah who just moved back with his mother started his journey at a new school. Eager to make friends in between classes he met a young lady who was very outgoing and charismatic. Zikkiyya and Micah would become friends rather quickly as both had attended Fraims Boys and Girls Club afterschool programs. We continued our friendship from middle school to high school as both would attend Howard High School of Technology in Wilmington, Delaware. Both were very active within the school. Zikkiyya who was chosen into the Medical Assistant program was also a part of the school's Varsity Cheerleading Squad and Track Team. Micah, who was chosen into the school Culinary Arts program was also a part of the school's Varsity Football and Baseball teams. The two remained close and as time passed, they took on the title "best friends" however, many around the two knew that sooner or later that title would grow into something more.
