The eternally difficult question to answer... Officially, we're calling for summer cocktail attire. "But Micah and Vered," you might ask, "What should I actually wear?" While we want everyone to dress up for the occasion and feel like their best selves in what they're wearing, we also acknowledge that it is summer, meaning two things: high temperatures and laid back wardrobes. We're envisioning classic and fun suits/dresses! And if you *really* need a color code, look no further than our Save the Date, Invitation, and website.
We can't wait to get married surrounded by family and friends while employing and uplifting the traditional Jewish wedding ceremony and its associated festivities. Please see this attached document for a detailed guide regarding individual aspects of our wedding: https://www.canva.com/design/DAGl78076B0/R0hslzhr7srKs6jRlmjVnw/view?utm_content=DAGl78076B0&utm_campaign=designshare&utm_medium=link2&utm_source=uniquelinks&utlId=h33d62cb4cf
We are not providing transportation to the wedding, however the Sonesta White Plains is a mere 8 minute drive from Kol Ami. If you are not staying in White Plains, please visit the "Travel & Hotel Block" page for some guidance regarding getting to White Plains on the day of our wedding.
If you have questions about the menu items concerning an allergy, please feel free to reach out to either one of us individually or send us an email at micahandvered@gmail.com and we can work with you and the caterer to make sure the menu works for everyone!
Yes! The ceremony and reception will be held inside Kol Ami. There may be some aspects of the pre-chuppah festivities that take place outdoors (weather permitting), and Kol Ami has some very nice outdoor spaces if you need a breather from the reception.
