Their Love StoryTheir Love Story

Their love story began at Stoney’s on August 5, 2022 , a night neither of them expected to change everything. What started as a fun night out with friends quickly turned into something more when they exchanged contact information and never went a single day without talking again. Just a few weeks later, on August 27, 2022, they went to a Chris Brown concert at T-Mobile Arena , a core memory that instantly became part of their story. That night meant so much that 3 years later, on September 20, 2025, he surprised her with tickets to see Chris Brown in concert again for their 3 year anniversary, bringing everything beautifully full circle. Since then, life together has been filled with all their favorite things: spending time with family and friends, going on dates, traveling, going to church, working out, watching Netflix, cheering on sports teams, nights out, and simply building a love that has been fun, steady, and constant from the very beginning. Above all, they’ve learned that love is found in the everyday moments, choosing each other, growing together, and building a life rooted in faith, laughter, and intention. They’re so grateful for the love and support of everyone who has been part of their journey and can’t wait to celebrate this next chapter surrounded by the people they love most!

Their 1st DateTheir 1st Date

Micah came to Star’s house to pick her up for their 1st date. While he was excited to see her, he was just as nervous about meeting her parents. As it turned out, he had nothing to worry about. They welcomed him in with kindness, made him feel at ease, and before he left, they lovingly reminded him to take good care of their only baby girl. He promised he would. Just as they were about to head out, an ice cream truck pulled up to the street outside her house. It was one of those rare and magical moments that felt like a sign the night was already off to a good start. Their first stop was dinner at Lindo Michoacan. Star ordered tacos, Micah ordered spicy salmon, and the conversation flowed effortlessly. They laughed, talked, and ate all of their food. Somewhere between bites, Micah learned something important: Star loves chips and salsa, and she could really eat. He loved that about her. After dinner, Micah took her to an Aces basketball game at Mandalay Bay. Sitting together in the stands, Star met his parents and sister for the first time. True to who she is, Star captured the moment with a selfie of all of them in the row. She loves taking pictures, and this felt like a moment worth remembering. It is so sweet to look back on that photo now. When the game ended, Micah had one more stop planned. Micah drove to Star’s favorite place : Yogurtland!!! She happily swirled herself a mountain of frozen yogurt. They sat in the car afterward, eating their yogurt and listening to music with soft star lights glowing on the ceiling above them. Micah brought Star home safely, just as promised. As she walked back inside, the butterflies in her stomach refused to settle. She replayed the night over and over in her mind, smiling to herself, already knowing she couldn’t wait to see him again. Their first date wasn’t just fun day full of activities, it was the beginning of something special. From 1st date to FOREVER. ♾️

Their PROPOSALTheir PROPOSAL

She had absolutely no idea what was coming. Christmas Eve felt like any other beautiful holiday moment they’d shared together. He had thoughtfully paid for her to get her nails and hair done as part of her Christmas gift. Nothing about the day felt suspicious. She had even picked out their coordinating outfits ahead of time: a red dress and heels for her, a black suit with a red undershirt for him. Perfect for Christmas Eve, she thought. Nothing more. They attended Christmas Eve church service surrounded by family, soaking in the warmth and meaning of the night. Afterward, his mom mentioned that she had forgotten cookies at their house. Without hesitation, Star and his sister went to their house to grab them on the way to dinner at his grandparents’ home. When they arrived, the house was completely empty. Still, nothing felt out of place. His family often played little jokes, pretending to be asleep or hiding just to scare her. Laughing, she and his sister debated over who would open the backyard door. Eventually, she did. The moment the door opened, everything changed. Their song, *“Everywhere, Everything,”* began to play softly. Right in front of her stood her mom, holding a bouquet of roses that read *“I love you.”* With a trembling voice, her mom said, “Congratulations. I love you. Watch your step.” Her heart dropped. As she took the bouquet and looked up, she saw it: family and friends everywhere, recording, smiling, crying. And then she saw the huge and beautiful display for the proposal: a stunning, heart arch made of roses, glowing sparklers, candles and a sign that read “Will you marry me?” Overwhelmed with shock and happy tears, she walked straight to him. He wrapped her in the warmest, most meaningful hug, held her hands, and spoke from his heart. His words were filled with love, gratitude, and devotion. Then, Micah got down on one knee and asked her to be his forever. Her answer came easily. It was the simplest yes she had ever spoken. When she saw the ring, she was completely stunned of how beautiful, timeless and perfect it was. In that moment, it felt as though God Himself was blessing them, raining down grace on a proposal rooted in faith and love, a marriage destined to keep Him at the center. Surrounded by family and friends, with hearts full and tears flowing, it was more than a proposal. It was a sacred beginning. And she knew, this was exactly how it was always meant to be.
