The story begins in late high school/college days when Micah was the friend who’d always call with invites to go jet skiing, out on the boat or just the classic Sluggo's hang out. When Stacy wouldn't answer the phone, he figured she'd typically be napping just a block down the road so he would take whatever loud truck/car past her open window and rev it up until she’d call back. Stacy always saw Micah as just a friend, and when she found out one day that he told his friends (Stacy’s old co-worker, Mitch Lemmen) that they kissed a few summers back when they went to the sand dunes in Silver Lake, Stacy was repulsed and called him up on speaker to confront him. “Micah, have you been telling people that you kissed me at the sand dunes?! You lie!” After some squirming, and a vague statement.. “Did I say that?! I don't think I did, but i don't remember..” She then bet Mitch in total confidence that she would NEVER kiss Micah Rosendahl. Fast forward to Spring of 2016. It was after Stacy’s first week of working at her new job in the Detroit area. She came home to run in the Tulip Time Tip Off 5k and was invited out on Micah’s new boat with some friends to Boatwerks. That's when they realized they were all signed up for the race and decided to meet up for it the next day. If you must know, Micah smoked Stacy, getting a PR and she hasn’t let him win many since. (S/O to Austin VK for running slow with her). They’ve promised to run the same 5k every year, even if “I have to push you in a wheelchair, because jokes on them, it’ll be electric and ill be riding on the back of it!”-Micah Micah and Stacy became close friends again that summer. They both denied it to themselves, and all of their friends calling it years back, but they became inseparable. Their goals, interests and hobbies inspired each other. She moved home and they fell in love that Fall. Exactly three years later, they’re bringing everyone together to exchange nuptials and celebrate with family and friends.
