Micah was wrapping up his Bible College career at Calvary Chapel Bible College in Murrieta, during the Fall 2015 semester. Sarah was just starting her first Bible College semester. They had lots of mutual friends that semester - Sarah went on several outreaches, Micah led worship almost every Friday chapel, Sarah served all the students dinner once a week, Micah was pretty much always in the coffee shop doing homework (as was Sarah). Yet they NEVER MET. Not even once. In September of 2016, Sarah added him on Facebook and then totally forgot that she did. Micah proceeded to accept her friend request and then stalked Sarah for a solid 2 months, liking almost every post. Sarah had no idea who this dude was. She just knew that they had a lot of mutual Bible College friends. Then in November, Micah added Sarah on Snapchat and started messaging her. Of course, all of you who know what Snapchat is, you know that all the conversations disappear if you don't save them. Micah and Sarah talked about life and Jesus and Sarah knew it would be a good friendship. Micah was crushin' pretty hard. Right before the Worship Leader's Conference, Micah told Sarah that he was flying to California from Missouri for the conference and he would love to meet her! So they met, hung out with friends that week, he bought Sarah coffee randomly, and then he asked her out to coffee on the last day of the conference. They woke up early, met in the coffee shop, talked for almost 3 hours about life. They just clicked. After that day, Micah gave Sarah his number, they maintained a long-distance friendship for almost 6 months, and simply got to know each other over countless hours of FaceTime and texting. On April 1st, 2017 (not an April Fool's joke) Micah told Sarah he liked her and she told him she liked him too. On May 25, 2017 Micah asked Sarah to be his girlfriend, and then on January 2nd, 2018 he proposed in the beautiful Yosemite Valley and she said YES!
