How We Met

First a Smile and Then a Haircut

Her Story: The Moment it happened, I knew. I knew that there was someone so special standing right before my eyes. I could feel it, his radiance spoke to my heart. The impression that I received when he had walked in took my breathe away and gave me all of the butterfly feelings. I had to take the opportunity. I wanted to find out everything. Where was he from? What did he like to do? How important was family to him? Did he have good morals, values, work ethic? The more I found out, the deeper I fell. My occupation: a Barber.. to be exact servicing the military. This is no easy job. I had struggled to get moved to a smaller barbershop on base and after a long year it finally happened. I was in such a small location dating someone was out of the question I wasn't looking, wasn't interested. Then one day Micah walked in he touched my heart and soul. He had walked into the barbershop with the most genuine smile I have ever come across. I fell in love with his smile and that handsome face the moment I saw him! He lit up the room. It took some work but it has definitely paid off and shown me a relationship that I never thought would unfold at the 33 Area Barbershop. His Story: My first impression of Martha was she was so beautiful she had to be married. I was nervous at first because we worked in a proximity to one another. But after a couple times of seeing her I knew I wanted to ask her out. She gave me her number and that evening we went to get dinner but didn't realize everything closed Easter Sunday . We drove around for an hour until we finally found a place to eat. She took me to a dance class where I stumbled over my feet for half the night. As I walked her back to her car I knew I had to take a chance and I've never regretted it.
