Question

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

We will start promptly at 4:00pm, so be sure to be seated by 3:45pm.

Question

What if I am late to the ceremony?

Answer

Our ceremony will begin promptly at 4:00pm. If you arrive during the processional, you will be asked to wait before being seated. After the processional concludes, our ushers will discreetly assist you in finding your seat.

Question

Can I still RSVP?

Answer

RSVP's closed on August 3rd. If you did not RSVP, unfortunately, we will not be able to host you. Please reach out the bride & groom if you have any further questions.

Question

Can I bring my child(ren)?

Answer

As much as we love kiddos, we cannot include all of them. If your children are invited, it will be made abundantly clear to you.

Question

Can I bring a date/friend?

Answer

While we would love to extend our celebration to include everyone's plus ones, we have limited space available and are unable to accommodate additional guests.

Question

What is the attire?

Answer

Black tie optional; trad welcomed. Whether you want to wear a fancy tux or your favorite Kente dress, we celebrate the entire diaspora over here!

Question

Is there shuttle service?

Answer

We will not be offering shuttle service. However, Charlottesville is a very tourist friendly city, so there are lots of other transportation options. Consider Uber, Lyft, or renting a vehicle.
