Micah and Gracie met at The Wilds of New England. They both were involved in the CIT program in 2022. They both went to camp fully aware of the work that God was going to be doing, and because of that, they were solely focused on the Lord these two weeks. After the weeks wrapped, they both lost contact for a couple of months. During the fall of 2022, Gracie was working a fall retreat at the Wilds. There, a good friend had called up Micah, and they all talked for like an hour. Gracie was able to get Micah's information and added him to a group chat with the rest of the CITer's. A couple months later, Micah and Gracie started talking on and off as friends. Micah and Gracie went through a lot of the same struggles, and they grew a bond through how the Lord brought them out of those struggles. Finally, on November 3, 2022, Micah had asked Gracie if they could call. On that night, Micah had confessed to Gracie that he had feelings for her. She was so very excited. Gracie then told him that she had feelings for him as well. From that point on, they talked and got to know each other very well. On January 8, 2023, Micah told Gracie that he loved her very much, and they both became an official couple. The journey that God had brought them on was an amazing one. The Lord was very evidently working their hearts. Micah worked the summer of 2023 at The Wilds of New England, and that was the first time they have spent some good time together. Gracie visited Micah while he was at school. Gracie also went to Micah's house for thanksgiving, and she was able to spend some time with his family as well. Both of them then worked the summer of 2024, and truly grew in the Lord together in their relationship. Micah stayed in the area and worked the fall camps. Gracie was able to go up and see him and spend some time with him. As the fall camps were wrapping up, on October 8, 2024, Micah popped the question. He told Gracie how much he loved her, and that he wanted to spend the rest of his life with her. From that point on, they both are very grateful for the love story that God has brought to them. God has been so very faithful in their lives. The couple is so very excited to see where God takes their marriage.
